One can acquire samadhi, a profound state of concentration and heightened awareness, by regular meditation practise. It is a complete state of happiness and disassociation from all worldly desires. Another way to put it is as a way of being where the practitioner is totally focused on the present moment and absolutely unaware of everything else. It is regarded as the ultimate objective of meditation. When pursuing Samadhi, it may be beneficial to employ motivational phrases. They may operate as a constant reminder of our goals, inspiring us to keep practising. "Mediation is the route to serenity, and calm is the path to Samadhi," is one of my favourite quotations. This statement reminds us that meditation is beneficial.
